Autumn Blessings
Autumn is upon us. I hear the wind howling and the leaves rustling as they blow across the yard. Gusty blustery winds and rain are God's way of preparing the trees for their winter slumber. Leaves that were once brilliantly colored yellow, orange, gold and red are now in a brown heap on the ground. I am one of those people who look forward to this time of year. I nest, I read books and my favorite blogs, I dream, I plan, I look at decorating magazines. I love our wood-burning fireplace, I love old movies, I love hot chocolate, I'm happy to be alive. I thank God for everything in my life and for my blessings, no matter how big or small.
