It’s another lovely sunny day! I’m drinking my cup of coffee and sweet Holly girl is purring on my lap. Our other cat Oliver just plodded in—he’s so funny. I can hear him coming into the living room before I see him—his little feet going clomp clomp clomp on the hardwood floor.
I have no definite plans for today. I’d like to do some dusting but I’ll wait and see what happens! I just might take a nap instead. I didn’t rest all that well last night. I was overly tired and just couldn’t fall asleep! Plus a queen-sized bed just isn’t big enough for the four of us! Holly always snuggles up close to me, her head sticking up and out from under the blankets. She sometimes rests her head on my pillow. On the rare occasion Oliver decides to keep us company too. Last night he made his presence known more than usual. He finally settled in close to me and I covered him up with the blanket. When I woke up around 6:30 they were both still there and I had my arm wrapped around Oliver, holding him close. Holly was on my other side. Yes, I could shut them out at night, but they really do comfort me. They’re both blessings from my Heavenly Father. A dear Christian friend once told me “God shows us His love through kitties”. I have to agree! ♥️
