Oh the whimsical life of a pampered house cat! I love how I have to maneuver around dainty kitty paws, flailing kitty tails and snoozy kitty bums whenever I attempt to do anything at all around the house. The reality of living with a cat is when all they want to do is give you head bunts, cuddles, sweet kitty kisses and provide relaxing daily massages. Or perhaps they choose to chase and bat around a toy mouse or watch the birdies out the window—or one of their favorite pastimes, nap in a warm sunny spot. One of the best moments with living with cats is when one of them decides to zoom and clomp through the house for no apparent reason, all the while making boisterous war whoops.
When one of the cats are comfortable and content on my lap and they look back at me with those doting eyes—I just melt. As they’re softly purring I bury my fingers deep into their velvety fur and gently squeeze their warm softness and squishiness.
I usually end up pandering to their every whim—and rarely accomplish a single thing. They have a pretty cushy life. I adore cats.
