I wish I enjoyed exercising. My neighbor and friend, Diane, loves it and has exercised for many years. It's just a part of her life. She walks, rides her bike, works out, and lifts weights. I don't know how high an impact of exercise that she does, but I don't do much of any kind, so any kind would be high impact for me! I always have good intentions...seems like that's the case for most things (smile). I just don't get motivated!
Tonight my sweet husband and I visited with Uncle Doug, Aunt Marilyn and cousin Greg. Aunt Marilyn is in a "senior citizen" exercise group, which entails yoga, pilates, and some aerobic exercises. She told us that she hates it, but she is still dedicated to going three times a week. I really admire her, and I should be doing it now instead of waiting to be old enough for a "senior citizen" exercise program. I was just making conversation and casually asked her how old one has to be for consideration in this group...she said 55. So...I guess I am old enough to be in her group! I wonder if I could keep up??
