Last night as my husband Brian and I were riding around, we saw a man driving in what appeared to be a four-wheeler, with a basketful of four adorable black and white kittens being clutched in the back by a little boy, and a fourth kitten being held in the front by what I imagine was his brother. They pulled up in front of a white country church and all I could figure is that they were going to drop them off there so the church family could find good homes for them. Much to my surprise, Brian pulled up to the church. As we pulled up we heard the children's choir outside, obviously practicing for Sunday morning's church service.
I walked over and picked up one of the kitties that was wearing a satin ribbon with a little homemade name tag on it that said, "My name is LuLu". She looked up at me in a way that only a kitten can look up at you, the way that they melt your heart, and I knew right then I was in love. She wasn't the prettiest kitten in the bunch, but it didn't matter to me. I knew I would be giving her a forever home. Right at that inopportune moment.....I woke up...from my dream!
