Sunday reflections

It's been a rather uneventful Sunday. All I've accomplished is some laundry; looking through some old photographs, reminiscing, and becoming a little misty; and writing a bit on my blog.

My sweet husband is working today, so it's quiet. Just the occasional sound of Holly playing with her toys and the gentle sound of the grandfather's clock ticking. I find it strange how I find the ticking annoying at times, and at other times quite soothing. There's instances where the ticking is so loud that it keeps me from falling asleep.

Holly has been napping more today than usual. I caught her napping in the coat closet a bit ago. This is her new spot.....her own private, secluded place. Cats need that.

I haven't even poked my head out the door today. Though I do hear the wind howling and it's been a little foggy. It looks like it could snow, but I guess only rain showers are forecasted for tonight. I have a couple cups of Eli's chocolate caramel coffee brewing that'll just hit the spot. I'd just as soon stay in my warm cozy home.

Another weekend is almost over. And another week begins tomorrow. With it brings new hopes. New challenges. New tears. New dreams.
