Muskrats in love...

My husband, Brian, took me through the Steak ‘n Shake drive-thru for a milk shake and we sat in the parking lot and watched the Canada geese and ducks in the retention pond. Watching them always relaxes me. Generally we see a muskrat swimming around but today there were two...they were scurrying around on the bank, digging the ground and taking mouthfuls of dried grass to their den along the shoreline. The geese were funny...they would stretch out their long necks and stare at them and get up real close; they were so curious. It didn’t seem to concern the muskrats one bit.
