Bigfoot

This beautiful afternoon I’ve been sitting by the French doors in the dining room watching the lovely bluebirds, red-bellied woodpeckers, juncos, cardinals, and even the sparrows. I also see our pretty purple hyacinths and the neighbor’s yellow daffodils. My neighbor Diane gave me the potted hyacinths when my mom passed away in 2012, and they’re thriving.

I then looked down on the ground and saw what I thought was a bird’s egg. I asked Brian if he’d go out and pick it up for me and he obliged. It was a rock 🥰 and I’ll place it in one of my bird nests. It’s almost time to go out and do some rock hounding, and take spring photos. I cannot wait to be able to put on my tennis shoes again! I pray I can get out next week for my birthday and buy a new—and bigger 🙄 sized—Hoka brand shoes. My podiatrist told me I have long feet 👣 so I told him to just call me Bigfoot.
