Hope

 God is my ONLY Hope. Without Him I have nothing. He gets me through the dark waters and the deep abyss. He carries me through the tortuous valleys of pain and tribulations of this weary earthly life. I have many days of severe pain and despair but then the Holy Spirit nudges me and reminds me of Jesus’ love for me and my salvation, and my wondrous hope of eternal life found only in Jesus. I have that hope; I hope and pray that all of you will find that Hope too. Jesus loves you so much. 

There’s so much hope in God’s word. My health and pain just keeps getting worse and worse, and the pain is in places I didn’t know I had. I then attempt to read some encouraging scripture and through the debilitating pain of my migraine, the deep bone pain, the muscles, ligaments, and neuropathy I get the warm fuzzy feelings of joy I can only experience through my Lord and Savior. I only have fleeting moments of joy; it dissipates quickly. My numerous symptoms rapidly overwhelm me. I find happiness cuddling with my soft kitties but I find my only true joy in Jesus, if only for those few fleeting moments.

Lamentations 3:22-24~The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The Lord is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in Him!”
