🐱 Hi to all my admirers. So far it’s been a lovely sunny day even though it’s a bit on the chilly side. But oh the gloriously warm sunbeams! Hope you all remembered to set your clocks up an hour. Humans have such silly rules and regulations. 

🐱 I spent this morning nibbling at my breakfast, walking away and then nibbling some more. Then I made some biscuits and purred on Ma’s lap. After all that exertion I took a short catnap. This time change has thrown me for a loop. 

🐱 Ma was resting in bed late this morning so I never got around to my early shift of patrolling, but I successfully commenced my duty this afternoon. I think the vile beasts may finally be getting the idea they’re not welcome in my domain. The other day while looking at my majestic self in the mirror I was appalled to see a few wrinkles from giving so many stern looks! 

🐱 Ma always impedes my early morning duties. If she would just get out of bed at the crack of dawn I’d accomplish everything in a timely manner. I blame her for my negligence but to be honest, it is my fault. I need to be vigilant and attend to my responsibilities. That’s difficult for me to admit. I need to keep on it since I don’t want to be perceived as a slacker like my brother Oliver. But oh how I relish my morning snuggles and kisses with Ma!

🐱 Speaking of the big guy, he spent some time mid-morning patrolling for vermin in one of the east windows. So he says. I think he was just enjoying the morning sun, but I have no proof! Pa was in the basement quite a bit earlier so Oliver slinked around and told me he patrolled a bit down there. I cracked down on him last year for not finding those vile termites invading the sill! He threw that right back in my face by saying I didn’t find them either! Well for cat’s sake, I can’t do it all!!

🐱 I hope you all enjoy the rest of the day. It looks like it’s going to be another cozy fluffy fleece throw night. While you’re watching a movie enjoy a slice or two of warm Dutch apple pie a’ la mode. More about me later…love, Holly
