 HOLLY’S CAT LETTER

EPISODE 18—03/13/2024

🐱 Hi to all my admirers. Let the celebrations begin!!! It’s a special two episode Wednesday!!

🐱 It’s another lovely day in the neighborhood. Ma really misses having the windows open but she is considerate of my suffering from wretched allergies. Besides, she suffers from them too. But to help compensate, she has the front door wide open and the glorious sunbeams are pouring in through the full glass storm door.

🐱As I was busy patrolling the south side of the house, I heard Chuckles, the resident red-bellied woodpecker, chuckling in our maple tree. Since Ma and Pa like him, I don’t consider him vile so there’s no need to waste my stern looks. I’ll save them for the vile beasts that like to inhabit my domain. They’re so annoying! Oliver actually took a few minutes out of his lazy schedule to patrol the north side of the house. Will wonders never cease!

🐱 On another note, ever since Pa’s brother had that massive heart attack, Pa has been on a mission to eat even healthier. I commiserate with him—I know how hard it is to be on a diet. I’ve had to be on this unsavory loathsome prescription diet for my urinary tract health for years. Torturous!!

🐱 Pa recently had his annual physical and bloodwork. The doctor prescribed these nasty pills. Pa has gained some of his weight back since he was so sick for a few weeks over last Christmas, so he’s getting his weight back under control. He is still diligently working out on the treadmill. There’s no way you could get me on that scary noisy contraption—besides, I don’t need to since I’ve been blessed with a svelte figure.

🐱This morning when Ma was opening the fridge she spied Greek yogurt that Pa bought in every yummy flavor imaginable. It certainly wouldn’t be my cup of catnip tea. This pleases Ma since she loves Pa so much. I love Ma and Pa and want them both around to feed and take care of me.

🐱 I hope you all have a lovely evening. I plan on relaxing on Ma’s lap and enjoying belly rubs. Perhaps you all could enjoy a bedtime snack of yummy rocky road ice cream. More about me later…love, Holly
